Glass, Light and Space
A series of four glass houses exploring shadow and light captured within them. Based on a simple, geometrical shape and a universal symbol, the work explores its diverse meanings of shelter, sanctuary, isolation, history, memories and dreams. The houses have been cold worked to achieve different surfaces, highlighting various qualities of the material. Exploring scale, illusion and perception, the houses were photographed in different settings and environment. Various dimension between 5cm x 3cm x 2cm.
